Tangible projects are tasks that need done to meet real physical needs.  They often are a burden to the person needing to do them either because of a lack of financial, time, intellectual, or physical resources.  These tasks can include moving, packing, repairing a vehicle, cleaning, shopping, driving or sorting through clutter.  When these tasks are addressed by the individual they are insurmountable, but with the skills, talents, and resources of the community the tasks are accomplished and community is deepened.  This is a great way to build the trust of individuals which leads to a willingness to become more interdependent.  The goal is not to just meet the need but to ultimately build relationships. The building of relationships is the most important aspect of these tangible/hands-on projects.

The Goal:  To meet the real needs of individuals in a tangible way that builds trust and interdependence.
